Wrestling
Welcome to the home of the Kalamazoo Premier Wrestling Club. In 2017 we partnered with Loy Norrix High School Wrestling, along with MYWAY, and started the KPWC to offer training and wrestling opportunities for beginners, intermediate and advanced youth within the Kalamazoo area. Our club is open to both boys and girls in the grades of K-8.
Online registration has now closed for our 2022/2023 Youth Wrestling season.
Key information is as follows:
- Open to girls and boys in grades K-8
- Season starts December 19th and ends late March 2023
- Practice will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for the 1st few weeks; then dropping to only Tuesday and Thursday
- Practice times will be 6pm to 8pm, in the auxiliary gym of Loy Norrix High School
- Wear CLEAN gym shorts, t-shirt, socks, wrestling shoes or gym shoes to practice
- Registration Fee: $70**
- Registration includes Club Membership, Club T-shirt, and MYWAY Card
- **Limited Scholarships are available for those that qualify

- Tournaments are not mandatory and are “Pay-to-Play”
- Participants should purchase wrestling headgear and wrestling shoes, both can be found at any local sports store
- For participants with dental braces, a mouthpiece that does not protrude from inside the mouth is required
